Forum Back On

DNS hasn't refreshed to me yet - but using a proxy I can get to a umsf.com that's on the new server and all APPEARS to be working at the moment.  It may take a while to properly check it's OK - but meanwhile some of you may well be surfing onto the new server!

Apparently the DNS change has already propagated to me :-).

My providers DNS doesn't report the new IP yet, but I used "dig" to find it anyway :)

Hey, guys, this is Nick (nprev). Can see it via the IP dig, but can't even get in to read posts via a proxy!

@nprev:

Just add this line to you local hostfile for the time being:

67.201.14.106 www.unmannedspaceflight.com

On Windows that would be in:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Run

ipconfig /flushdns from cmd after editing local hostfile.

Thanks, DE, but my config doesn't seem to match that; can't find this file. Running XP SP2.

It's cool; I'll just wait till the propagation's complete. Thanks again for the help!:)

If you visit http://www.hidemyass.com/ (yeah - I know) - you can put www.unmannedspaceflight.com in and it'll work.
